The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ighoyota Amori, has congratulated the President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, on the occasion of his 57th birth anniversary, describing him as a unifying leader whose legacy in public service remains enduring.
In a statement issued by his Public Relations Officer, Joelson Wilson, Senator Amori praised Ochei as “a committed party man and bridge-builder who, during his tenure as Speaker, carried everyone along and strengthened the foundations of inclusive governance.”
Amori recalled that Ochei’s time as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly was marked not only by legislative stability but also by tangible infrastructural advancement, notably the construction of the present Delta State House of Assembly Complex.
“His tenure as Speaker was defined by vision, inclusiveness, and institution-building. The construction of the current Assembly Complex stands as a lasting testament to his foresight and commitment to strengthening democratic institutions in Delta State,” Amori stated.
The Chief Adviser further commended Ochei’s continued service to the nation, particularly in sports administration, noting that his leadership trajectory reflects dedication, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to development.
Senator Amori prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments for the former Speaker, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience will continue to benefit Delta State and Nigeria at large.
